Fullstack Development For Healthcare Software (React and Express)
In this project, students will be involved in feature development for a mental health software startup where students will be responsible for creating critical features relevant to our product. This project involves development of both frontend React features and backend Express features for a full stack software product. In this project, there will be development of key React features alongside integration of those key features into our growing codebase. The goal of this project is first to setup design docs, and then work on system design of those key features. From there, the project will revolve around implementation of the UI using React and integration of the new feature into the Express, Node.js backend.
Dashboard Redesign Project
The main goal for the project is to improve the dashboard experience for tenants using the Haletale platform. This will involve redesigning and developing the front-end experience for tenants, with a focus on using React JS as the primary tool for development.
Integration of Haletale Platform with Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive
The main goal for the project is to integrate the existing Haletale platform with Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive to allow users to store data as needed. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Understanding the existing Haletale platform and its architecture. - Researching the APIs and documentation for Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. - Developing a plan for seamless integration with the existing platform. - Implementing the integration with the chosen cloud storage services. - Testing the integrated system for functionality and security. - Providing documentation and training for users on how to utilize the integrated storage options.

Realtime Embedded Backup Camera

• Displayed a live video feed overlayed with realtime dynamic steering guidelines using UDP and socket with Python and OpenCV to transmit video from a BeagleBone Green connected to a webcam as the target to a Debian virtual machine as the host
• Dynamically brightened the output based on surrounding light levels using a photoresistor connected to IO of the BeagleBone to implement a "night mode" module
• Automated the target and host programs using systemd and Linux shell scripting to automatically start the host program when the BeagleBone is started and connected
