The goal of this project is to conduct a comprehensive review and enhancement of Unified Alloys’ HR policies, ensuring alignment with current legal requirements, industry best practices, and internal objectives. This initiative supports compliance, fosters transparency, promotes continuous improvement, and strengthens employee engagement and organizational culture across all levels.

Livrables

Project Phase 1: Research and Information Gathering

Objective:

Understand the current state of our policies, identify gaps, and gather best practices.

Activities:

  • Review Existing Policies: Compile and document all current HR policies.
  • Identify Policy Gaps: Compare existing policies against legal requirements, industry standards, and Peninsula recommendations.
  • Consult Stakeholders: Gather input from HR, managers, and employees on policy effectiveness and pain points.
  • Benchmark Best Practices: Research policy standards in similar industries and ensure alignment with compliance frameworks.

Deliverables:

  • Policy inventory list
  • Gap analysis report
  • Best practices summary

Project Phase 2: Policy Evaluation & Cross-Referencing

Objective:

Assess the effectiveness of existing policies and cross-reference them with Peninsula guidelines.

Activities:

  • Content Analysis: Evaluate clarity, consistency, and alignment with company goals.
  • Legal & Compliance Review: Ensure compliance with employment laws and Peninsula’s recommendations.
  • Review Employee Feedback: Identify areas where policies may need simplification or clarification.
  • Identify High Priority Policies for Employees: Identify policies that should be summarized for the employee Handbook.

  • Revised policy framework draft
  • Compliance checklist
  • Employee Handbook framework draft
  • Stakeholder feedback summary

Project Phase 3: Policy Writing & Updating

Objective:

Develop updated policies that reflect legal requirements, company objectives, and stakeholder needs.

Activities:

  • Revise Existing Policies: Update policies based on research findings.
  • Draft New Policies: Develop policies where significant gaps were identified.
  • Draft Policy Summary’s: Develop policy summaries for the Employee Handbook with links (reference) to full Policy.
  • Seek Legal & HR Review: Ensure accuracy and compliance before finalizing.

Deliverables:

  • Final draft of revised policies
  • Final draft of Employee Handbook
  • Internal review and approval checklist

Project Phase 4: Implementation & Training

Objective:

Ensure company-wide adoption of updated policies.

Activities:

  • Create Communication Plan: Announce policy updates to employees.
  • Develop Training Materials: Provide guidelines on policy adherence.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Educate employees and managers on key policy changes.

Deliverables:

  • Communication materials (emails, FAQs, guides)
  • Training modules
  • Implementation timeline

Project Phase 5: Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

Objective:

Evaluate the effectiveness of policy implementation and make necessary improvements.

Activities:

  • Gather Employee Feedback: Conduct surveys or focus groups on policy effectiveness.
  • Monitor Compliance: Assess adherence to new policies through audits.
  • Regular Policy Updates: Establish a framework for periodic reviews and updates.
