The healthcare sector generates an enormous amount of sensitive data, ranging from patient medical records to billing information. The mishandling or unauthorized access to such data can lead to significant legal, financial, and ethical consequences. Despite increasing awareness of the importance of data security, healthcare institutions often still employ outdated or inadequate encryption methods, posing a significant risk. This project aims to develop a robust, user-friendly application dedicated to encrypting healthcare data to meet regulatory standards like HIPAA and GDPR.

• Interactive and user-friendly interface: Design an interface that medical

professionals can easily navigate, even with minimal technical knowledge.

• High-Level Security: Implement industry-standard encryption algorithms (e.g.,

AES, RSA, …) that meet regulatory requirements.

• Working with all types of data (image, audio, and text)

• Key Management: Build a secure and automated key management system.

• Option for storage on the cloud (AWS or Azure) and on-premises (hard drive)

• Logging and Monitoring: Create a system for auditing usage and alerting

administrators to any unauthorized or suspicious activity.

• Documentation: Generate documentation, including user manuals and best-practice guides.

• Mentoring and coaching by weekly meetings.

• Helping in understanding encryption and key management concept.
