Main Goal:
The project aims to accelerate the development, demonstration and adoption of innovative agricultural clean technologies, with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improving environmental sustainability. This will be achieved by supporting final beneficiaries through redistributed funding, mentoring services, and knowledge transfer initiatives to maximize the impact of innovations on the agricultural sector.

Project scope and expectations for Students
The project will be implemented thought our program Agrischool Academy Canada.
During the implementation of the project under the Programme des technologies propres en agriculture – Volet Recherche et innovation – Accélérateur, students will actively contribute to the following key tasks and deliverables:

1. Research and Analysis
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing clean agricultural technologies to identify gaps and opportunities for innovation.
- Analyze data related to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in agriculture to support the development of targeted solutions.
2. Proposal Development
- Assist in designing and drafting a transparent funding redistribution process to identify and support eligible beneficiaries (startups, cooperatives, Indigenous groups, etc.).
- Collaborate in creating clear evaluation criteria for selecting projects with the highest potential environmental and economic impacts.
3. Knowledge Dissemination
- Develop communication materials, such as case studies, videos, and presentations, to illustrate the impact of funded innovations.
- Organize and participate in knowledge-sharing events to promote the adoption of advanced technologies among producers and stakeholders.
4. Technology Demonstration Support
- Help coordinate on-site demonstrations of innovative agricultural technologies for stakeholders.
- Document outcomes and user feedback from these demonstrations to refine and enhance project implementation.
5. Project Management Assistance
- Support the preparation of progress reports and documentation required for accountability and evaluation by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAC).
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve project efficiency and alignment with program objectives.

Project Details:
This project is designed to support the implementation of a clean agricultural technologies initiative under the Programme des technologies propres en agriculture – Volet Recherche et innovation – Accélérateur. Students will engage in a range of activities that provide a comprehensive view of project management, research, and impact measurement.
Task 1: Research and Data Collection
- Conduct background research on clean technologies for agriculture and their potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Collect data on key challenges faced by producers and stakeholders in adopting sustainable technologies.
- Compile a list of existing solutions and identify gaps that the project can address.
Task 2: Development of Selection Framework
- Collaborate in drafting a transparent and objective framework for evaluating and selecting funding beneficiaries (e.g., startups, cooperatives, Indigenous groups).
- Define criteria aligned with the program’s goals, such as environmental impact, feasibility, and scalability.
- Test the framework using sample case studies to ensure accuracy and fairness.
Task 3: Knowledge Transfer Materials Creation
- Develop materials such as presentations, case studies, and videos showcasing project outcomes and their impact.
- Organize these materials into a cohesive format for use in stakeholder outreach and workshops.
Final Deliverables
Students are expected to provide the following by the end of the project:
Deliverable 1: Research Report
A detailed document summarizing research findings, including data analysis, identified gaps, and recommendations for addressing challenges in agricultural clean technologies.
Deliverable 2: Evaluation Framework
A structured selection and evaluation framework, presented as a clear and concise document or spreadsheet, with guidelines for implementation.
Deliverable 3: Outreach Materials
Knowledge transfer and outreach resources, including a PowerPoint presentation and at least one case study or video, designed to communicate project impact effectively to stakeholders.
