Our organization works on developing mentally healthy communities. We seek to assist community members to overcome anxiety, depression and provide the right mental health tools to cope. We focus on the idea of reflective practice and encouraging counselling skills to become equipped for your field of choice.

We believe this project will include:

  • Virtually facilitating a support group for individuals with addiction or mental health issues
  • Research Psychology related content and create an article on your view of the topic of choice
  • Community outreach, engagement, and/or community development
  • Social justice and/or advocacy work, including social policy research and/or advocacy

Livrables

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • Psychology/ Social Services related program creation ( Ideas)
  • Bi weekly assignments submission ( Research paper, Reflection Papers and Practical Counselling sessions)
  • A 30-minute presentation end of placement
Mentorat

MENTORSHIP AND SUPERVISION
Students will be supervised during their internship through Zoom and other online work sharing platforms, specifically during working hours. Students will be guided and mentored by our Founder along with our MHO (Mental Health Officer) as well. Any time needed during business hours by phone/email and after business hours through email. Students will also have the option of connecting with their student Team's Leader for support during the duration of the internship.
