Foot Canada Training aims to enhance community awareness and understanding of foot health, particularly focusing on daily foot care and diabetes-related foot issues. The project involves creating a series of informative handouts that provide clear, concise, and accessible information for patients and the community. These handouts will cover essential topics such as basic foot health, daily foot care routines, and specific considerations for individuals with diabetes. The goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to maintain healthy feet, prevent complications, and improve overall well-being. The project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of health communication, design, and education to create materials that are both informative and engaging. The handouts could be used also used as social media posts, website pages or posters.

The project deliverables include a set of professionally designed handouts/pamphlet/poster that cover the following topics: basic foot health, step-by-step instructions for daily foot care, and diabetes-related foot health considerations. Each handout should be visually appealing, easy to understand, and suitable for distribution in community health settings. The deliverables will also include a brief report detailing the research and design process, as well as recommendations for future updates or expansions of the handouts.
