The main goal of the project is to develop a conceptual design for a cargo delivery robot, conduct simulations to assess its functionality and efficiency, and create a detailed 3D model of the design. The emphasis is on the robot's base structure, which should be optimized for cargo carrying, stability, and maneuverability in urban environments.

Livrables

Tasks for learners to complete include:


- Initial research on existing cargo delivery robot designs and understanding the specific needs for urban delivery (10 hours).


- Learning and applying CAD software to create an initial design of the robot's base structure, focusing on load-bearing, balance, and maneuverability (20 hours).


- Performing basic simulations to test the design under varying urban scenarios, including payload, terrain adaptability, and stability (20 hours).


- Refining the design based on simulation feedback, with attention to material efficiency, manufacturing feasibility, and operational efficiency (20 hours).


- Documenting the design process, with emphasis on the decisions made and simulation outcomes (10 hours).



Final deliverables should include:


- A detailed 3D model of the cargo delivery robot design.


- Simulation outcomes and documentation of the design process.
