Throughout the project, I had the opportunity to contribute to impactful work—identifying key target groups, researching potential speakers and sponsors, and helping draft communication materials. The mentorship provided was hands-on and supportive, and I always felt encouraged to share my ideas and grow in my outreach and communication skills. Overall, this experience not only strengthened my research and professional writing abilities but also connected me with a cause I truly care about. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support this initiative and would recommend future students to get involved.
